upcoming US trip

as i draft out the itinery and budget for the upcoming vacation in US, i realised that it is actually quite a long (3 weeks) and extravagant trip!

The first week will be mainly spent in Colorado Springs, where Ah C is staying right now. The highlight of the stay would of course be his ring dance (a ball for third year cadets), for which I will have to shop for a dress (and prob lose some weight) within the next three months. Other possible activities would include white water rafting, hiking up eagles peak and probably just rest and relax in the beautiful house of Brett and Julie(his sponsor family) and have a meal at the Vietnamese restaurant where Ah C goes to quite often. Not forgeting eating at my favourite Cheesecake Factory in Denver, and of course have a better look at the city of Denver (which I only went to for a couple of hours the previous time).

2 days after ring dance, we will fly off to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to spend 5 days on board the Royal Carribean Cruise to the Carribean Sea! Along the trip m the ship will be docking at Key West, Florida and the cities of Mexico and Belize in Central America, where we will be making day trips to explore the cities!

After the cruise, we will be heading to Orlando for the themeparks and outlet shopping. I still remember the fun we had at Tokyo Disneyland, Disneysea and Osaka Universal Studios and is completely excited about visiting the parent themeparks in Orlando, which houses bigger and more variety of themeparks.
Walt Disney alone has 4 themeparks on its own, namely Magical Kingdom (which is the standard one similar to Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland), Epcot (futureland), Hollywood Studios (similar to Universal Studios, featuring Walt Disney movies instead of Universal ones) and Animal Kingdom. On top of that, there are two water themeparks to add to the list. Universal Studios has two to its name - Universal Studios and Islands of Adeventure. Besides Walt Disney and Universal, there is also Seaworld. There are so many choices we are still thinking of which one to go to... but Seaworld will definitely be in because both of us haven't been to any Seaworld before.

Ok.. I think to that, the trip will be coming to an end....
It is going to be an expensive trip - all the internal flights, cruise, themepark tickets and the basic accomodation and meals and outlet shopping.
Still considering if we should take some activities out!
