New York New York (City)

After 1.5 months in USA -->Messy messy luggage bag

Typical deli cafe

to the fast pace in new york

Grand Central train station

New York Metropolitan Museum of Art

Central Park

Often seen in Hollywood movies.

Outdoor musical concert

Horse carriage. But I still like the ones in Denver, cos the horses are much bigger and prettier!

Financial District - Wall street
The charging bull of wall street - The symbol of strength, power, and hope, given to the American people after the memory of Black Monday (Oct 19, 1987, the day Dow Jones index recorded the largest loss in history, comparable to the analogous landslide that led to the Great Depression the same month 48 years earlier). Rumour has it that if you rub it's testicles you will have good luck in the stock market!!

Battery Park/ Liberty Island/Ellis Island

Statue of Liberty: A gift from the French government for the 100th birthday of America's Independence.

Streets of New York

Lots of bill boards, huge screens and yellow cabs on the road
Gay Pride Parade!
Empire State Building
The tallest building in New York City since the 911 incident destroyed the Twin Towers. The Empire State Building was also once the tallest skyscraper in the world upon its completion in the early 1930s.
View from the 86th floor observatory:
As you watch the sun set before your eyes...

Broadway
Watch a musical.
The Lion King:

Rockefeller Centre
A city within a city - 19 office and commercial buildings covering 11 acres in midtown Manhattan. Home to the NBC (television) Radio City Music Hall, and Christie's Auction house. In addition, it also is home to the Rockefeller Plaza which has the famous ice skating rink in the winter and of course the huge Christmas tree during Christmas.

New York Subway~

St Patrick's Cathedral

New York from my point of view:
Expect to see many many buildings. You will realise that its major attractions are all man-made, architectural works - Empire State Building, Rockeller Centre, Chrysler Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, etc etc.
Expect to eat lots of burgers, philly sandwiches (beef) and hotdogs. International cuisine is much more expensive, and cheap ones are not nice.
People on the streets of Manhattan generally dress up more and look more sophisticated and professional.
An eye-opener but not a great place to stay for long on a leisure holiday.
