and the very thought of our life together in three years' time.

this bunch of people and the memories we share are the most important part of uni life that i will bring along with me. three years of friendship.. and i guess some things have changed. each of us are getting busier with our own lives -other friends, work, school, projects, careers, relationships. Though we still make an effort to meet on our birthdays, the bond has weakened, i must say. Each of us now has a new perspective in life. Nevertheless, i will not forget the crazy times we had.

we always talked about going on an overseas trip together. they were never successful, and kukup is the furthest we have been to together. still, the trip was fantastic - the ktv sessions, mahjong with stan's mum, bbq and seafood, the prawn crackers the host auntie made, popsicles on a hot day, firecrackers at night and the one which flew into the warehouse window, the horrible nasi lemak we had for breakfast, the dog at the kelong, fishing the whole day and getting nothing, and how i gained 3 kg from all the eating.

Stan's 23rd birthday at pitstop. Taboo is super fun. and we went to have zi char and ordered only one chilli crab dish, which was 90% eaten by me and joey.

my 21st birthday: the surprise birthday cake at DND the night before, BBQ in the DAY, and all the help in preparing for the celebration at night.

Weisheng's 23rd birthday at huimin's house. humin said she will cook, but she only did one dish and the rest was done by her mum. i love how this looks like a family picture.

stan's 24th birthday. stan, i must say u are the lucky one whose birthday we celebrate every year, with PLENTY of photos.

i feel so pampered and paiseh at the same time. everytime i buy chinese new year goodies or mooncake for quan's parents during the festivals, they always end up buying more for me. this mid-autumn festival, quan's mum bought me two boxes of mooncakes! and i only gave them this box of 8 minis and one box of 2 yam mooncakes... seems so little la. though i think they would not mind such stuff.

yeap they are really nice to me. while quan is in faraway US, his family celebrated my birthday for me this year. i got to choose where i wanna eat (we went to the thai restautrant all of us like, in jurong) and had my fav-chocolate cake.. yum! i m really glad to be part of the family :)

molten chocolate cake

today i attempted for the first time the molten chocolate cake. oh man, i can't get more blur u know. i forgot to remove the pan from the bottom rack n hence my cakes were uncooked at the base (cos the heat from the bottom heating element was blocked)... so i had to re-pour the batter into the cups n bake again. i was rather sure it would not turn out nice already, because the batter is not smooth anymore. ya so i baked the cakes again... and i think i baked it for too long, cos it was completely baked in the end, meaning the centre is not molten la! ah.. still edible la, but its rather bad that the molten chocolate cake din turn out molten? haha.. but it tastes good hehe.. so i am pretty sure the next time i try, it will be a success. will then try to perfect it!
