Fullerton Hotel

Last weekend, me and ah c went for our long awaited hotel getaway at Fullerton! We booked the 'Time for two' package about three weeks back and had been looking forward to it since. It wasn't cheap, but extremely worth it.

The room was nicer than we expected (as from the website photos)!

The package included a selection of bubble bath with rose petals and candles, check out the varieties!
We also received a complimentary gift...

of a set of bathrobes...

And also a bouquet of roses!

The package entitled us to a bouquet of flowers or a bottle of wine. We chose the flowers because we were afraid the wine wouldnt suit us - Ah C doesnt really like the taste of alcohol and I am quite choosy too (i dislike wine that are too dry and/or crisp). But we did bring our own fruit wine which we bought from perth (nevermind the graphics on the bottle.)
Our package entitled us to a quay room, which faces either the singapore river or the marina bay. Given that there was a festive fireworks package (for the NDP preview), we thought our chances of getting one facing the marina bay (to get a good view of the NDP fireworks and airshow) was very low. We did made a request for those rooms if available though. And lucky enough, we got a marina bay view room on the 7th floor (the second highest level at Fullerton)!

While watching the parachutists, we suddenly heard loud noises coming from above us. Then I saw the helicopters carrying the Singapore flag flew over us. The helicopters looked so huge cos they were so near...
And the Black Knights preformance were awesome! Dear... u be part of the Black Knights in the future k???? Hahahha.

Everyone's favourite stunt i guess...
After the Black Knights performance, we settled down for our 4-course dinner (which is included in the package) at our balcony.

I like the butter cos it was very soft and spreadable..
Soup..
Appertiser..

Main courses..

Dessert..

We finished dinner just in time for fireworks! And the fireworks performace was really enjoyable cos we were in the perfect angle and height. Having watched fireworks so many times (past years' NDP and Tokyo Disneyland), this is the best ever, seriously!

Next morning, we went to the pool to relax for a while before heading to Town Restaurant for our buffet breakfast. The pool overlooks the Singapore River and is a good place to chill, even at night.

Then it was time for breakfast... which was one of the best buffet breakfast i had as well, prob because the food suited my taste.

Overall, I rate the stay excellent! Ya, it was really worth the money. And I must say all the staff i talked to were really helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the package to everyone! And for your info, the promotion ends on 31Dec.
Haha looking forward to our next hotel stay le... Not so soon la! =P
