Sir Francis Drake Hotel

This hotel we stayed in sure deserved a 5 star rating from me (its rated 3 stars by the US local standards).
Location: Located strategically in Union Square, at the heart of the shopping distrincts and within walking distance from Chinatown. Victoria Secrets, Aldo, H&M etc are just a few mins walk away! Major attractions such as Lombard Street and Fishermans Wharf are also easily accessible by the Cable Car.
Room: Americans sleeps on the most luxurious beds on earth. Know what I mean when you see this --> http://bedding.lifetips.com/ And the bed in this hotel was, of cos, super comfortable.
Decoration and atmosphere: http://www.sirfrancisdrake.com/ (Picture speaks louder than words)
Service: The concierge helped carried ten pieces of luggage up to our room (Here's the story: US hotels charges extra if there are more than 2 pple in a room. We had 4 people, so 2 of us actually sneaked in in order to save $$. He must be wondering how 2 girls can have 10 pieces of luggage la.) They also helped us book a cab (for departure) and when we were late for it and the cab left without us, they nicely helped us to call for another one.
